Down discrimination(다운 차별)
In this world there are so many people discriminated against by their peers
In this passive world each individual can do what he wants, whether it is a harmful thing or not for others
It doesn't matter if swears, hit with punches and spits
He satisfies his pleasure and doesn't care if a victim has to suffer, are an trash and that's it
He doesn't care if he doesn't have the right to exercise what him his will demands, on people just like him
Does what thinks is good for and if no one tells him that what he is doing is incorrect will continue to do the same things without remorse
And if anyone dares to oppose pleasure, that someone will be the next discriminated person on the list
This is our world, the world in which the bad ones too it "evolves" spiritually and are full of goodness
We have become so intolerant that we also hurt those who try to unfreeze our heart
We voluntarily hurt even those who seem to us to intruders and unfit to be around us
We are so mockings that we also laugh at freckles , of olive skin, wrinkles and of people with glasses or with autism
We laugh at those who have speech impairments, underestimate the one who stutters and turn our backs on the one who needs support
We do not know how to offer kindness and patience to those who need these more than anything
To us it may seem like a banal, paranoid thing, but for them a kind word makes up for all the tears and sufferings they have endured for a day, a month or maybe a year
A tender hug makes a how thousand sunrises
And a hot and sincere tear is make worth how all the gold and pearls in the world, put together
How much these things that we consider non-essential mean, to others who every day they was cried and hoped at the same time that they would heal them one day?
For a person with a soul full of scars, any gesture of humanity counts
Every attention and love counts, even a smile can make a sad person feel more appreciated
Even if we take all these things as a joke, they are actually the reality that we refuse to see
Even if it seems that is honest to us to wronged and judge a person we don't even know
But in reality it is unjust we to demean and hurt the feelings of a person who can us actually become our best friend
Before showing our indignation and carelessness, shouldn't we ask ourselves the question: if someone did to me what I'm about to do it now, how would I feel?
If someone told me that I am a worthless person, worthy of all contempt, how would my instinct react?
If someone told me: "You are inferior and you don't get up to our standards" how would my heart feel?
Or if someone yelled at me and said "Go away, I don't want you near me, you're odious " would I still be able to consider myself a person with dignity?
If I were looked upon as on an outcast wherever I went I could consider myself an accepted man?
If I were spoken to with disgust, would I still be able to believe that one day, someone it will approach me, take my face in his hands and speak to me with an angelic voice?
People different don't around us who we reject feel discriminated and offended?
How It would be if we were in their shoes and had to endure being exclus, pointed with the finger, at and criticized ?
How would it be if we were the victims of a group trying to us bullying verbally and physically?
For example: I'm African and I'm not rich, I came to Romania and I don't know the language. How will they perceive me?
I suffer from autism and I am shy, I am emotionally unstable and I wear glasses. Will the others understand?
I'm a new student at a school and my classmates don't like me because I don't want to take part in the bad things I do to others and I defend those who are intimidated by them
And I, on my turn, am bullied and excluded. How could I feel when I know that I am doing what I feel is right and on the other hand I am considered superficial?
Why do others and I have to suffer just because we like to think different from others who it seems to them normal to discriminate against those they don't like?
To put ourselves in the place of those whom we discriminate against and reject because they do not speak our language, have other traditions and social status
Would we like it if someone treated us as if we were the residues of society?
How would we feel if we sat every day among people, looking for help and no one paid attention to us?
If we were the ones pushes on the street, in the tram, at the store, or anywhere else?
If we were the ones asking for lenity, guidance and help from others?
And even if we too were victims of discrimination sometime, that does not allow us to treat others like that who have done us no wrong with nothing
We can't be so demanding with our peers, we can't turn our backs on those we will love one day.
Try to look into the eyes and read the soul of a person who asks for our help. Does he really inspire us with such disgust and carelessness?
To try to look into the eyes and read the soul of a person who asks for our help. Does he really inspire us with such disgust and carelessness?
Even if we are white or black, even if we are rich or poor, we all had problems
And we will all have, and we will be able to console and support each other if we will accept our differences
Nowhere is exist it written that it is better to be white than to be black
Nor that it is better to be tall than short
Or that it is better to be beautiful and with a lot of money
We invent stereotypes tacitly,We don't think too much that "that disabled " is a disabled person and we classify him in the disableds category
We don't think a child is shy because they suffer from anxiety and we cataloged it as being "fearful"
We don't think that a child who doesn't sit still during classes can suffer from ADHD, we better put him in the "unmannered "category
By doing these things we consider ourselves to make be part of "good" category while others who are different like us are part of the "bad "category
The diversity of the world we live in is objective but we relate to this as being subjective
Face to diversity attitude can occur at all ages
From the 5-year-old pointing his finger disgusted toward at another child's mole
In the 10-year-old laughing at his classmate who is missing a tooth
In the adolescent 20-year-old who laughs at someone else's freckles
In the adult 40-year-old who looks away when he meets a Chinese, an American or a Brazilian
And up to the 70-year-old grandmother who won't let her grandson play with "those unwashed and vagabonds"
Diversity exists, we just have to us build a positive attitude
We have to accept ourselves regardless of the color of our eyes, hair or skin
We must accept each other regardless of social or financial status
We have to accept the fact that there are people around us who have distinct signs, mental illness
We must love each other as God loved us
And even if we do not have the same faith, value and culture, this should not prevent us from accepting ourselves as we are
We can end discrimination if we learn to accept our differences and perceptions
As God created us out of love, so we should accept each other regardless of origin, race, language or traditions
We have to overcome the malleable border between disciplines, territories and people
We appreciate valuable things even if they were created by a white person or a black person, by a rich or poor person
The question is: what would our prejudices be use to and discrimination?
Prejudices do not help us, they hurt us a lot
We have to shape our attitude towards diversity and to adopt a new criterion: tolerance
We must know that each individual stands out for the qualities he has
And even though it's hard for us to confirm sometimes that people we think are weak have abilities that we will never be able to have
We must accept each of us as we are
By doing good to others we do good to ourselves
We cleanse our heart of all vanity
Just as we have room in our souls to stuff as in a luggage various useless things
So we can offer a piece of our soul to and others, useless things are not more important than people
People have feelings, we must to offer and others the chance to express themselves
We should not reserve our love only for we, we must share with others
It costs you nothing to stretch hand out to a person with crushed feelings
It costs you nothing to shed a tear on the shoulder of a child tormented by suffering
The most important in life things cost nothing
Let's make our hearts hold hands
To accept each other as different and wonderful how we are
We can learn from each other how to put pride aside, and colaborate and accept ourselves as we are
We can form a rich community, without there being any laws constrain us to accept discrimination
We are different physically and mentally but we all have feelings and a heart full of nobility
